Wandering Scholars was founded in 2023 with a bold ambition: to set a new benchmark in edu-tourism. Sukanya, with her passion for travel and education, envisioned a company that would combine the joy of exploration with impactful experiences. Joined by Dileep as co-founder, Wandering Scholars quickly grew into a trusted partner for institutions and travelers seeking something more meaningful from their journeys.
Based in Chennai, India, our mission is clear—to simplify and elevate educational travel. From our EduTour India program, which explores the cultural richness and dynamic industries of the country, to our tailored Group Trips and Temple Tours, each journey is thoughtfully crafted to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Our services have expanded beyond edu-tours, offering alumni reunions, corporate retreats, and trekking experiences under our Group Trips category. Sukanya T
Sukanya is the founder of Wandering Scholars, a company born from a simple yet powerful idea. After a decade in the corporate world, she realized her true calling during a project that involved planning an educational tour. As an entrepreneur and a mother, she knew she wanted to build a company that combined her professional skills with her deep love for travel.
Sukanya believes that travel is about meaningful connections—visiting new places and meeting new people at your own pace. Her mission is to share this wonderful experience with students, showing them the world in a way that is both educational and fun.
She is dedicated to making Wandering Scholars the go-to resource for students seeking to travel both within India and abroad, while also helping international students truly experience the beauty and culture of India.

Dileep S.V
Dileep brings a decade of corporate experience and a true adventurer's heart to his role as Co-founder and COO of Wandering Scholars. He has a knack for turning obstacles into opportunities, a skill that has been instrumental in shaping the company's journey.
When he's not focused on business strategy, you can find Dileep out in the world, often on a trek or trying a new adventure sport. His love for exploring new places and cultures—especially through food—is what drives him. It's this passion for discovery that perfectly embodies the spirit of Wandering Scholars and its mission to create truly meaningful travel.

Vamsikrishna
Vamsikrishna—known to everyone as Vamsi—brings a wealth of expertise to Wandering Scholars. With a degree in Tourism & Travel Management from the Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management, and hands-on experience at Exoticamp Adventures in Chennai, his knowledge of the travel industry runs deep.
Vamsi joined Wandering Scholars from the very beginning, and his passion for exploration has been key to shaping our global travel strategies. As our Chief Global Travel Strategist, his insights and dedication continue to drive our vision forward. We’re fortunate to have his adventurous spirit and expertise guiding our journey.
